What you need to know when requesting custom work.
Here's the low down:
The t-shirt blankets that I make are NOTHING like a traditional quilt. Your new blanket will be even more user-friendly and you will not mind taking it everywhere because it washes like a t-shirt!
Blankets and scarves are made with both the front and back of each t-shirt making them just the right weight for snuggling on the couch, camping trips and tailgating. I do not use any stablizer or anything else between the layers. This keeps the t-shirts feeling like t-shirts. When you get cozied up to watch a movie with your t-shirt blanket, it will be like snuggling up with a big t-shirt. You're going to love it!

Q - How big or small can you make the squares for my custom order?
A - Squares can be made from 4.5" up to 12.5" and several sizes in between.
Q - I'm not very creative, can you take my t-shirts and design the blanket for me?
A - This is, in fact, how it usually goes. I do allow customers to come up and help lay out the blanket if they really want to.
Q - My shirt has an image on the back too. Can I count this as 2 squares?
A - No. Not unless you are including another t-shirt the be the backs of both of those squares.
Q - How long will it take for you to finish my order?
A - I usually finish a blanket in 1 day. The time it takes you to get it back will depend on how many orders I have recieved before yours. Currently I am finishing approximately 3 orders a week to allow time to work on other projects. Feel free to email me and ask too.
Q - What if I want to rush my order?
A - I am willing to discuss this with you. There will be an additional charge for the rush.
Q - What condition do my t-shirts need to be in?
A - Your t-shirts should be
-clean (washed within a week of drop off) and
-wrinkle free. Please make sure that
-nothing is living in your shirts and that the shirts are
-mostly free of pet hair
Just about anything else is fine. Stains, paint splatters, holes.... These things don't bother me.
Q - How many t-shirts do I need to have?
A - It all depends on what you want to have made.
Q - Can you make a border or different sized squares on one blanket?
A - No. I use only one size square throughout a blanket. I never do borders. Sorry if that's what you are hoping for but I only work in my own style.
Q - Can you use my sweatshirts in my blanket too?
A - I can, but the results are much nicer when blankets are all sweatshirts OR all t-shirts. If it's important to you I CAN work them in for you.
